My Story

My path to holistic beauty and wellness—the kind that recognizes the importance of maintaining physical, mental, emotional AND spiritual health for life—wasn’t exactly easy or straightforward, but it’s been absolutely worth it, and every day I keep wanting to learn (and share) more!

I spent my childhood and many of my adult years outside the United States. Growing up with very little in a rather chaotic part of urban Manila, Philippines, I knew and practiced the bare minimum of proper skin care, nutrition, and fitness. As a young adult, my focus was always (necessarily) on earning a living…and then on raising a child, as well.

It wasn’t until we moved to California, which I’ve now called home for over 20 years, that I finally got access to the knowledge, tools, and experts that would enable me to fully embark on my personal journey to inner and outer beauty. And yet, I still waited until my daughter was off to college to finally shift the focus of my own life to myself.

In the past decade, I’ve given myself permission to pursue long-lasting health and happiness through learning (and teaching) mind-body fitness (yoga, pilates, qi gong), traveling the world, and most recently, enrolling in beauty school and getting my esthetician license at the age of 62!

These days, I’m happy to bring together everything I’ve learned along the way so I can help women of all ages live their healthiest, happiest, and most beautiful lives!
